Dance music comes in waves and being a well recognized and successful dj certainly isn't all about being a one hit wonder. Over the past 10 years there's been a name that's been as synonymous with trance as black goes with white. Adam White has seen his name rise progressively with parties, productions and compilations. But where is he at the moment? Where's he playing? What's he doing? I got in contact with him ahead of appearances in Ibiza to find out just where he's at.

Check out Adam's latest feature at www.harderfaster.net

His internationally broadcasted radio show Global DJ Broadcast is unequivocally the most important outlet for the global music scene on American radio, and his hundreds of thousands of weekly listeners attest to that fact. Markus continues to win over fans and currently stands at Number 32 in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs Poll. His productions have been released on the most respected labels in the electronic dance music industry including Electronic Elements, Armada, Anjunabeats, Lost Language, Yoshitoshi, Global Underground, Renaissance, Bedrock, and Skint just to name a few.
Markus' productions have graced the turntables and mix albums of top djs around the globe either under his own name, Markus Schulz, or his "Himmel" and "Dakota" monikers. David Guetta returns with F*** Me I'm Famous International, the third in the album series due for release through Ministry of Sound recordings.

After being voted Best DJ at 2005s House Music Awards and yet another Miami party this year that saw industry insiders, club kids and the rich and famous clamber on stage to dance, F*** Me Im Famous is back. The revered DJ spot for David at Spaces opening party in Ibiza on 4 June was just a warm-up for him and wife Cathy, as they presented their second ever London date on 22 June at Caf de Paris. Since the debut UK event last October, F*** Me Im Famous has taken NY, Miami WMC, Paris and, most recently, The Cannes Film Festival by the balls.

Three stand-alone FMIF parties are lined up at Pacha, Ibiza. The first was on 13 July and they are running throughout the summer with three additional co-hosts including Pure with Pete Tong, Def Mix with David Morales and Erick Morillos Subliminal. Plus, Monaco, Milan and maybe Moscow are on the map after the Ibiza season wraps.

A unique melting pot of every kind of nightclub creature F*** Me Im Famous is a place where anything goes. Picture the flamboyance of Studio 54 with the hindsight of acid house. Add a Balearic twist and a pinch of Parisian chic and youre half-way there. Its sex, frocks and rock & roll with nothing taken too seriously.
Except the music, of course.
Enjoy the sexy preview here on VONYC.com - DAVID GUETTA IN THE MIX - he' going to rock your from the head to the panties!

Saturday 14th October – Gatecrasher, The Brunel Rooms (Swindon)

Eighteen months ago Rob Stevenson aka Activa was excited at the prospect of having his first vinyl release, alongside Aled Mann, called In Essence on the rapidly rising Somatic Sense imprint. Little did he know that 18 months later he would have further releases and remixes on the likes of Spinnin, Black Hole, Discover, Somatic Sense and Enhanced under alias like Astralis, Substate, Eluna, Airaforce, Solar Movement and Mekk and have his tracks played to thousands worldwide by the biggest names in the industry.

As a DJ, Rob has played at nights including Passion @ The Emporium, Crasher @ Gatecrasher One, has his own radio show on the internet station, ETN once a month and regularly appears as a guest on numerous other shows.

If that isnt enough, Rob works alongside Jon OBir and Kev Ribbens at Conspiracy Recordings a label that, over the first few months of its creation, has grown into one of the fastest upcoming labels at the moment. Conspiracy releases have been playlisted by the trance elite and have already been featured in many compilations including Trance Republic, ASOT 2006 and In Search of Sunrise 5.

Residing from Finland, Miika Kuisma, 31, has seen and accomplished a lot but this red-hot producer/dj still has his best years yet to come. Through hard work and time Miika has evolved into an all-round dj with his very own distinct sound and his sensational productions have gained the support of many industry leaders such as Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold and Christopher Lawrence.

The year 2005 was perhaps the busiest of his career so far due to the production and release of his debut artist album called Inwardgaze. The year 2006 will make a big difference for Miika while he is transforming himself from trance world into house world. Meanwhile his next artist album is cooking well and his latest productions are suggesting it will be quite different from the Inwardgaze.

M. Franciscus van Riel is what his passport says. But people have been calling him Sied ever since he was a little kid. So it's for that reason that he doesn't listen to either of his first names simply because he isn't used it.

Now in 2006 Sied is back and here to stay!

With "Fearless" beeing his Debut release on Finish Label "Subbtraxx owned by Miika Kuisma he couldn't have wished for anything better. The track was played by all major players such as Tisto, Above & Beyond, Mike Koglin just to name a few.

His remixes for Corydalics in may 2006 where also bonged on dancefloors worldwide, also released on Subtraxx. His next release "My Dreams" is already storming dance floors with massive support again by the big boys. He's currently working out alot of remixes for various dj's and also started some projects with other DJ's such as Miika Kuisma and Dutch based DJ Dazzle.

He recently joined Tisto on his In Search of Sunrise 5 Tour to do warm up sets in Istanbul, Antalya and Cyprus with great succes and is also preparing for a Tour thru Eastern Europe with Subtraxx artists Dallas Superstars & Miika Kuisma.

Growing and maturing his sound in the studio, Sied is certain to keep on going.

As the dutch saying goes.

It's better to have 10 pigs in the air, then one in your hand (because they are pretty heavy you know...)

Carl Cox has produced the fiftieth release for his very own mega imprint Intec Records. 'K'Pasa/Spoon' – with a tribute to Mark Spoon.

Techno myth Carl Cox set up Intec Records more than six years ago -since then, the label released anthems in a row, notably Smith & Selway ('Move'), Tomaz & Filterheads ('Sunshine') and Renato Cohen ('Pontape'). More recently it has switched its attention to up-and-comers Sebastien Leger, Hiroki Esashika and Allan Banford.

Right now the label notches up its fiftieth release 'K'Pasa/Spoon'. Produced by Carl Cox, the 12" marks the first time the label boss has released original material on Intec.

"I know times have changed in the scene right now and music evolves and develops into new trends and fashions, but I will always stick by this sound, while I also look forward to moving forward onto the next 50 releases on Intec too," explains the label boss.

To celebrate INTEC RECORDS 50th release Carl Cox is hits you up with a massive mix from his Terrace Set at SPACE, Ibiza.

It makes you want to be there, or if you were there and you're listening back then it takes you back - giving you the chance to relive that special occasion." (John Askew, July 06)

Next John Askew Dates:
Friday 6th October – Fusion, (Cumbria)
Saturday 7th October – Synthasia, Schutzenhof (Germany)
